Naruto just became an official ninja (yay!), and he’s feeling on top of the world. But before he can even bask in his newfound greatness, he gets ambushed by a tiny, round-headed brat who promptly faceplants trying to sneak attack Sandaime.

Enter: Konohamaru Sarutobi, the grandson of the Third Hokage and self-proclaimed next Hokage—which is wildly optimistic considering he just tripped over his own feet.

Konohamaru’s Problem?

Despite having a super important grandpa, nobody takes him seriously. People only see him as “Lord Hokage’s grandson” and not as “Konohamaru”

Naruto’s Problem?

He was literally just like this kid five minutes ago. No respect, no recognition, and a big fat dream of being Hokage.

Cue Ebisu-sensei, Konohamaru’s elite tutor, who is NOT amused. He chases Naruto and Konohamaru around the village like a babysitter losing his mind, but Naruto pulls a reverse card on him and knocks him out cold with a very well-timed Sexy Jutsu.

Konohamaru is amazed. This is the kind of teacher he needs! Forget boring lessons about “respect” and “ninjutsu fundamentals”—he wants the Naruto Special™ training.

Konohamaru’s New Plan?

“Naruto, you’re my boss now! I’ll follow you anywhere!”

Naruto’s Immediate Response?

“Uhhhhh…no thanks.”

Despite his rejection, Konohamaru actually learns something from Naruto—not just about jutsu, but about working hard to earn respect instead of demanding it.

As Konohamaru runs off, determined to make his own name.
