Laughing when you see something humorous on the outside world is one thing but every time I see myself making belittling remarks , self-criticism about myself in my inner space, I have to laugh. Only because unlike the outside world which is so real, the inner world can be so false. So, why shouldn’t we laugh at our thoughts?
Like Krishnamurti said, “To understand the immeasurable, the mind must be extraordinarily quiet, still.” Laughing at your thoughts is a kind of stillness too — not resisting, not believing, just witnessing with humor.
Love this!
