INT. CLASSROOM – DAY

Maya is sitting in the front row in the Physics I class. She is waiting for the Professor to come. Aruna strikes a conversation with her.

Aruna: Hi there! I am Aruna. How are you doing today?

Maya: Doing well. I am Maya

Aruna: Hi Maya. That’s a lovely name. How is the first day of classes treating you?

Maya: Good. I am little bummed that the Professor is late.

Aruna: Yeah. He better have a good reason to keep us waiting.

Maya: Agreed.

Aruna: Where are you from Maya? Do you live in Vrindavan?

Maya: Yeah, I am a local Vrindavanite. Haha

Aruna: Ooh, that’s cool. I am from Bombay. This University is one of the top ones out there in our Country. So, I had to come here. I am staying in the dorm rooms on campus.

Maya: Oh, Bombay. Never visited. Heard it is terribly hot.

Aruna: Yeah, it can get hot unlike Vrindavan which just has nice weather throughout the year. Grace of Lord Krishna perhaps.

Maya: Haha, yes perhaps. But it’s just a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and a beach. I just love it here!

Aruna: Me too Maya. So, what are you thinking of majoring in?

Maya: I think it’s a tossup between Chemical Engineering or Bio med Engineering. You know trying to stay far away from software industry if I can.

Aruna: Hahaha, yeah. I understand but just a FYI – I am thinking of going to Computer Engineering.

Maya: Oh, Good luck with that! I think we can’t be friends anymore.

Aruna: Oh, you are tough, missy. Aaargh, where is this Physics professor?

A person enters the room with some news about the missing professor.

Person:  Hey class, I know it’s your first day but unfortunately this class won’t be happening as the professor encountered an accident on the way to Uni. So, class dismissed. See you next class, I hope.

Aruna: Well, that explains it. Want to go chat outside Maya?

Maya: Sorry Aruna, I am thinking of going to see the huge library.

Aruna: Oh, that’s cool. See you next class. Maya: Bye
