If I were a tree,
I would stand still
and observe the world.
I would breathe in opposite of man in the morning,
while resting like man at night.
Truly, a wonder how I support a man
to continue living on this planet that we both cherish.
I would watch as my leaves bloom in spring, summer,
change colors in fall
and wither and die in winter.
I see man struggle in his pain and miseries,
and joyful during his highs and happy moments.
A tree even sees many generations of man
being born and die.
As a tree I support them all.
Blessed is the man who values this tree.
For in this tree he recognizes intelligence
flowing like—similar to—himself.
Intelligence that both tree and man
understand as divine existence: Nature.
Be peaceful, man,
for I wish I can
just observe and witness like a tree
and be completely content with life.
