- Meditate on the word “Blue Sky” Notice the stories that the mind spins up. Can the mind accept any other color for sky than blue? Remove the word blue from “Blue sky”. Notice what the mind comes up with for just “Sky”. Does it want to color it a specific color because we don’t know what color “Sky” really is without a color attached to it? Come up with a meaningful sentence that is new, fresh and not from memory recollection or conditioned idea of the past. What sentence have you come up with? Think of yourself as a large language model(chatgpt). Combine words and see what new perspective you have never held before about the word sky – can you come up with?
- Meditate on the word “Love”. You will notice a lot of things come up that you define as love. Memories, your near and dear etc. Now give love a color – purple love, blue love etc. Can you exactly locate what color love is? Now remove all the memories. Remove all the people. Remove all the past associations. What remains of love? Is there anything? Or was love entirely made of all those contents? And if it was made of them — what is it when they are removed?
Before the mind named it — what was it?
